Director of State and Regional Partnerships

The Director of State and Regional Partnerships will play a dual role in securing and sustaining state-level partnerships while collaborating across the company on the implementation of key solutions. In close collaboration with the Vice President of Educational Strategy, Director of Client Services, and Vice President of Professional Learning, this leader will be responsible for the full life cycle of partnerships—from securing the sale to supporting the effective implementation. This pivotal role involves cultivating strategic relationships with state Departments of Education, regional centers, and other key partners to promote and help secure the adoption and implementation of 95 Percent Group’s Top 10 Tools and other educational products.
The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of educational systems, strategic planning, and implementation management. This position requires a combination of high-level relationship-building skills, strategic foresight, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams to ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement of solutions at the state level.
Essential Responsibilities:
State Partnerships
- Develop and Execute State and Regional Partnership Strategy: Craft and manage comprehensive strategies for engaging with state agencies to grow revenue from 95 Percent Group products and services from state and regional level agencies.
- Lead External Engagements: Act as a liaison with state boards, regional centers, and state organizations to foster long-term partnerships.
- Strategic Planning and Monitoring: Stay informed on educational policy changes, professional learning initiatives, and state-specific legislation to align offerings with current needs.
- Ongoing Relationship Support: Maintain productive post-adoption relationships with state stakeholders and identify opportunities for expanded partnerships and upsells.
Solution Implementation Support
- Support Implementation Strategy and Delivery: Develop and manage the state-level implementation plans in partnership with the VP of Educational Strategy and VP of Professional Learning to ensure goals are met efficiently.
- Motivate and Align Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate across departments—including Professional Learning, Educational Strategy, and Sales—to ensure smooth program launches, with consistent execution and measurable results that result in successful long term state level partnerships.
- Monitor Program Success: Track key performance metrics related to implementation and adoption to ensure state partnerships are healthy and sustained.
- Resource Management: Ensure that project timelines, professional learning sessions, and implementation resources are aligned with state-specific timelines and expectations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify potential challenges in implementation processes and develop proactive solutions to ensure scalability and sustainability.
- Consultative Support: Provide technical assistance to states during and post-implementation, supporting them with professional learning, progress monitoring, and troubleshooting as needed.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Master's degree in education, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a role involving partnerships, professional learning, and implementation management in education or a related sector.
- Knowledge of Educational Systems: Strong understanding of state education systems, adoption processes, and professional learning frameworks.
- Implementation Expertise: Proven ability to lead and manage large-scale implementations with multiple stakeholders.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership abilities with a history of guiding cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for relationship-building and stakeholder engagement.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze trends, data, and policy developments to inform decisions.
- Adaptability: Ability to adjust strategies in response to changing educational policies and market needs.
